OCTOBER 28th 2009

Ore d'Amore is a personal 3D project done in one day. It was inspired by my own photograph I took in Rome, Italy (San Angelo Castle). Nothing special for this one... just having fun :)

Tools: Maya, mental ray, Photoshop, Wacom Tablet, Google! :)

Another speed painting done in 40min. This is where I got until my PC crashed and my previous save was too old. Anyway, what are you gonna do, just keep painting :) As usual, I stared painting without a clue what my goal is. I know the perspective is (more or less) wrong but next time it will be better :)

OCTOBER 7th 2009

A speed painting exercise that took me 30 minutes. This is my first time ever in 2D digital painting and it's quite simple. May be I will go further with this one. Just started painting without clear idea what I want and it turned out as a desert. Not quite genius, but still, here it is.

3D Renders

Some of these images are quite old. All the images are created with Maya (some are really old, using Maya 4.0. Maya 5.0 is used for the bedroom scene) and rendered with mental ray. I am interested mostly in lighting and rendering techniques and that's what I am constantly aiming to improve.
